Barry when you Say "central control" Do you mean the large round On/Off control Button located in Center of the Front Panel. I have being trying to find by pressing the remote and looking through a camera viewfinder at same Time.

Thanks Barry, The remote Pickup is where you suggested although I could not see exactly as the pickup point would not reflect through
the Samsung Note phone camera or iPhone camera. What I am doing is remote playback and control on BT you-view box in place of sky.| Tue 9 Apr 2013 19:50:53 #7 | -

I thought the camera trick was to check that the remote control was firing? That's correct, the camera sees the Infra red from the remote that the naked eye cannot but there is no response from the IR receiver for the camera to pick-up.
Liam, as long as the eye is changing channel etc then it's in the right position. Ideally it should be slightly away from the IR receiver so as not to block commands from the remote.

The Camera on the Iphone wont pick it up or the samsung galaxy note 2 either but Barry steered me to the location but its not exact.
I guess I will just have to juggle a bit either way.| Thu 11 Apr 2013 1:59:33 #9 | -
There is no return signal to pick up.
If you shine a bright light through the front of the unit you may be able to see the receiver - usually a similar appearance to an LED.
