I have 2 Humax HDR boxes; 1 older one with Raydon software in a bedroom to record programs when clashes occur. 1 such clash occurred yesterday, and I went to retrieve the file, only to get the screen comment:- NOTICE no more storage available.
I have connected an HDD 40Gb EXT3 with PSU, and it is empty. I have also tried 2 usb sticks FAT32, of 16Gb and 64Gb - same result.

    Help

Hi welcome to the forum. I imagine the message indicates the internal hard disc is full so the recording wasn't made. The Foxsat-hdr cannot record to an external usb connected hard disk.

NO, I was trying to transfer to an external hard disk ( usb key or EXT3 usb disc). I left it alone for a while, and restarted the Humax, and hey-presto, the External disk was recognised, so I transferred the file, then transferred to the internal disk on my other Humax box.

    Job done!
