    Hi
The sat input sockets were damaged in a flood (badly corroded), otherwise the box functions. I can't access the HD as the box requires the user to tune into stations first. Is there any way of skipping this part of the setup so that I can simply access the HD content?

    Thanks

Hi welcome to our forum. Remove the HDD drop it into a sata usb drive cradle and connect it to a PC either booted into Linux or with a External EXT/EXT3 driver installed. The Recordings are in partition SDA 3 xxxx.ts contain the video and audio

HD ones will be encrypted unlesss you were running the custom firmware etc when the recordings were made
