    Hello,

I have in the last few days done an automatic search to update my freeview channels. The upshot of this is that all my non HD channels are being picked up from a transmitter with a very weak signal and are now unwatchable.

I tried to fix this by doing a Manual Search as follows

I start by having BBC1, (non HD), being viewed with a very poor staccato picture.

    I select

    Menu>Settings>Installation>Password>Manual Search

    The Manual Search screen shows
Channel 46 with a signal strength of 10%

I edit channel to be the correct value for my area of 49
The signal strength goes up to 51%

    I select the search button

A manual search of CH49 takes place where it finds 11 tv channels and 13 radio stations including BBC1, (non HD).

I click Save, the word "Saving" briefly flashes up on the screen.

I go back to viewing BBC1 (non HD), nothing has changed its still tuned to channel 46 with 10% signal strength and an unwatchable staccato picture.

Can anyone please explain why my manual search on channel 49 is not overwriting channel 46, please?

Manually tune to 46 but do not save and then manually tune to 49 and then save.
