Will we ever be able to view the likes of CCTV, Motors or JSTV on the HDR-T2? I just want to know if compatibility with these channels is on the todo list and new firmware one day will support them?

Those channels are received via the internet. Afaik only the newer HDR1800T and HDR2000T are able to access these (and has the required hardware).

Which transmitter do you get your terrestrial channels from ?

Motors TV is on COM 7 which isn't available from all transmitters and is significantly lower power from those that do have it.

Can you not get 71, then?

I wouldn't have thought there's much likelihood of ever getting the IP channels.

I get my signal from Crystal Palace where COM7 is on 33. My T2 is on my home network and I can see it from my PC that's why I ask about the channels.

Only IP content on a HDR FOX T2 is via the TV portal.

I also get signal from Crystal Palace. No trouble getting 71. Did the retune get you 63?

No I don't get anything between 70 CBS Action and 101 BBC ONE HD I am missing two channels i think. I will try a manual tune of 33 when I can but the T2 is recording at the mo.

Can't imagine it ever happening on the hdr-t2, even if you find them they'll be incompatible

Just booted up a huawei YouView box and even this says, just like the humax, they're incompatible with that device however; I can get JSTV on a different YV channel again by 'setting it up' i.e. paying for it.

iirc these were the sort of channels that used to crash the boxes on older firmware. I've almost gone the other way, wanting to get rid of everything except for 101 - 124 and iplayer, it'd cause too much trouble though in the household.
