    That isn't my experience. Before I installed the custom firmware I more than once deleted channels only for them to reappear the next day.

    Have not tested on the latest firmware (and I do have the custom firmware installed) but I am certain it did on 1.00.13 (when much of the channel editor research was done) and I am sure it did on 1.00.15 when Humax extended the housekeeping process to do a freesat tune as it appears to do a rather interesting merge of the old and new data based upon channel number - which was the reason where channel reordering is not permitted.
    However a Manual freesat tune always replaced all.
