    Hi all,
I am going to give my present Samsung TV to my son and buy a new one for myself.

What does anyone think of the "Toshiba" 40inch LCD HD TV
    40BV70140
It is the only set in the price range of £350.00 that has 4 HDMI sockets
    which I can use.
I am not bothered about it not being a "Smart" TV as
my Humax HDR-FOX T2 Freeview+ HD Twin Tuner with 1TB Recorder
    can do all that.

    Thanks for any thoughts.
    Mick.

Can't find the Toshiba 40BV70140 (on Google) but the general advice I can give is make sure the TV is made by the manufacturer and not a rebadged product.

Hi, here is a link if it works?
    http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/toshiba-40bv700b-40-full-hd-lcd-tv-10490819-pdt.html?intcmpid=display~RR~TV,%20DVD%20&%20Blu-ray~10490819

Might have to copy and past it?

Just read about this 'like new' (Amazon warehouse deals) Samsung 40" with 4 HDMI inputs at £260: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B004S990DM?tag=bu4me-21

Check it out, and tell me what you think...

Hi, I did look, but must admit I was put off Samsung TV's becouse the one I have just cannot be updated with drivers and I think that was not helping my connecting problems from my Humax recorder to the TV.

I did buy a Toshiba 40 inch LCD TV.
Am not impressed with the sound but all seems ok.
    Thanks,
    Mick.
