Connecting DVD recorder, Humax and (old) TV

I am looking for a replacement for a very old PVR9200 and see a connection problem. My TV has a SCART connector (no HDMI), the Humax has two SCARTs, and they are connected DVD recorder to Humax, Humax to TV.

The new Humax boxes have only one SCART. My DVD recorder has two, so I could connect Humax to DVD recorder and DVD to TV. Would I still be able to do the two things I need: record from Humax to DVD, and play from DVD to TV?

Yes. With the DVDR in standby, the Humax will loop through to the TV. To record from the Humax, select AV2 on the DVDR.
