To be honest Martin I just want to get some channels like Failarmy, which just say, "Connect your freeview device to the Internet for more great TV" Iplayer would be a bonus, but if I could access the Internet all the better. Do I need a dongle? The Edimax Ew-7711uan seems the most recommended for my humax box? Thanks Paul

I don't think a dongle will help. There are two types of IPTV and I think the HDR-1800T only supports the earlier standard MHEG see https://www.freeview.co.uk/help/viewing-ip-channels
I don't know for sure whether Failarmy is using only HbbTV but if it is it will explain your problem.

Thanks for the info Martin. So my best bet is to invest in the Humax FVP-5000 to keep up with current standards?
