Does anyone know if I can control my PS3 via the DVD control function on the remote? Thanks for your help.

PS3 remote controls aren't Infra Red they use a wireless bluetooth system. Some more expensive remote controls like the top of the range Logitech Programmeable remotes have an optional bluetooth adaptor. So sorry the answer is no.

My PS3 (slim) can be controlled by an infrared remote using the cec link via hdmi.
Panasonic use vieralink to send the CEc commands down to the PS3, via Hdmi, which also uses CEC commands.
It works and u can navigate the XMB etc.
Now does the Humax do the same... I havent tried it
