    Hi

I want to copy from my Humax 5000T to a WD 4T external usb connected hard drive.. This external HD already stores some windows 10 nackup files.

    please can you tell me

    Is this practical?

What are the actions needed to achieve this?

    Thanks

If you mean that you want to plug the drive into the Humax then I doubt it will work. Any drive larger than 2TB will probably have a GPT style partition table; the Humax (as far as I know) will only work with drives using the older MBR partition style.

Yes providing the partition table is MBR anything up to 2TB formatted as NTFS, FAT32 or Ext2/3 should work.
