    Hi
I have a bunch of photos on the Foxsat HDR which i would like to copy onto a hard drive. When i insert a USB drive in which is FAT 32 formatted it is recognised. When i go to a photo folder i cant seem to get the copy/move function to be highlighted, on one side is the HDD showing photos, on the other side of a split screen it shows my USB stick. I have unplugged the machine for a few minutes and retried without success, also done a factory reset still nothing, any help be appreciated

    Hi welcome to our forum.

It's been a long time. Edit mode is the answer. Look at the coloured button prompts. Press red select the Photo tab. If you select Edit mode and select all the files you want to copy. Now switch to the USB drive and copy/move should be enabled.

You may have to play around a bit as it's been years since I have done this and have no photos on my Foxsat to try it out.

Installing the custom firmware makes this much simpler as you can use it's Samba or ftp server to copy these directly to a networked PC.

told you it has been a while (2011) See post 4

Thanks Graham, once i opened up the USB part it then seemed to allow copying. I spoke on Live chat to Humax tech support this morning and tried a few things, they said there must be a fault with the drive, what do they know hey.

    Once again, thanks
