Always had a great experience with the Humax box until one night last week when a notice appeared on the screen saying Humax were upgrading the system but not to worry as everything would be even better!! However...from that moment on the screen froze and despite the lovely tecces on the Humax helpline trying to help, nothing worked, no TV, no nothing. In the end I was told "oh that's strange - it shouldn't have happened" but "not to worry as you always have the option of upgrading to a new box" - (course I do!)
I wasn't able to speak to a line manager or anybody from customer services and I was told my only way of contacting anybody that might care was to try this forum and that customer services will read it. Really?...we'll see.....am I being cynical in thinking this is just a ploy to force people to buy a new box?
