I have a recorded series on my box with 300+ episodes.

I would like to delete it to clear some space as I have recordings elsewhere.

When I go into the series, select an episode, chose "Delete entire series", after confirming I wish to proceed the box reboots.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug?

Have seen reports that deleting a large quantity works OK - However I think that was short of 300. What is on that frequently to build up 300?

Seems you'll have to delete a good chunk of them separately.
I'm intrigued, what have you recorded that you have over 300 episodes?

I've successfully deleted 50+ episodes in the past so it could well be a bug based on quantity.

I deleted 150+ Eastenders recordings last night and the box shut itself down and restarted to reveal they had all gone....lucky or what.

Hi...think I have the same problem. Series delete seems to work with a few episodes, but have just tried to delete 9 episodes of a series and it rebooted and the series is still there.

Has anyone who's had this problem found a solution?

    Many thanks,

    D

My 1000S did not reboot but I've found on occasion it does nothing the first time I try to delete a series. After confirming the delete request the display simply went back to displaying the list of episodes I wanted deleted. On the 2nd request for the same series it worked OK on 20 up to 50 episodes. I bit flaky I would say, like most of the Freesat software.
