My media area is getting cluttered up with loads of 'upper folders'. I delete programmes that I recorded and watched, but seem unable to delete the upper folder in which the programme was stored. How do I do this?

1/ Navigate to the folder, BUT DO NOT OPEN IT.
2/ Press OPT+ on the remote. This will reveal a pop-up menu with 'Delete' highighted.
    3/ Press OK.

There is also a variation of this for deleting multiple folders and recordings that reside at the same level. Instead of 1/ select all the folders (or recordings) that you want to delete by using the navigation buttons and the red button to mark as selected. Then action 2/ and 3/.
Be careful that you don't select too much!

Assuming it's the same as the HDR FOX T2, highlight the folder, press opt+ and choose the delete option.

On 1800t no internet I click option to delete the folder, in the top right corner there is a star like acog thats trying to turn but can't and the word "deleting" and they don't go away unless I unplug the device. when I turn back on the program I "deleted" with its folder are now back. IT CAN'T DELETE this folder. Also no matter how much I delete it still says 4%, that doesn't change. Please advise.
