I'm missing c3 4 and 5, plus other odd channels anyone know how I can get them back.

Do I need a new Humax box?

    Thanks, from a new subscriber

    Hi Jo 90,

Welcome to the forum. Have you tried retuning box? I would recommend a full retune and see if this resolves problem. No you don't need a new box. Humax would love you to purchase a new one every time you have an issue, but hopefully you can solve it yourself! Also check your signal strength/quality via settings menu. Please let forum know how you get on. John L

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

Signal strength is only 75%, the quality is 100%

Also, message "terrestrial antenna is short circuited"

The strange thing is, I can receive all channels when I don't watch TV through Humax box!!

Signal strength of 75% is fine; indeed too high a signal strength can reduce the quality.

Also, message "terrestrial antenna is short circuited"

In Settings> Installation, turn off antenna power which is only needed if you have a masthead amplifier powered through the coaxial cable.

Have you tried retuning the Humax yet? (Settings> Automatic search)

Do you know if you have a masthead amplifier and if so how it is powered? I think the message is a warning but not a serious problem.

Good news, thanks for letting us know.

I have a 4 way signal booster box, just after the areal.

It's an SLX brand Freeview box, recently fitted, after my other booster box seemed to stop working!

The problem is the message won't go off the screen!

    Thanks for helping me.

When you can receive all channels when you don't watch TV through Humax box, where does the TV pick up its aerial feed from?
    E.g. Direct from the SLX?
    E.g. through the Humax?
    E.g. through some other route?

    Hi

From aerial through SLX then to the TV when Humax is off.

SLX has 4 TV outlets, 3 of which are used

    Many thanks
