Does the FVP-4000T have Universal Search?

    My old 4200 had a great search function, I used it to search for movies coming up during the whole week but the new search function only does what's on now. It's not half as good. I know myself and others have mentioned this to Humax but no joy as yet.

    Are you referring to the FVP4000T? I'm asking this because when I search using mine I do get programs coming up during the week.

    Nope, it's not changed, when I do a genre search it only brings up what's on now or the next hour.

    OK, you and I have been talking at cross purposes. I have been talking about using the 'Smart Search' function rather than the Genre search.

    Is Smart Search the regular search?

    Which I presume searches everything now and over the next 7 days across all broadcast TV?

    It's the one where you press the magnifying glass then OK. It's called Smart Search in the manual. And, yes, it searches everything for now and the next 7 days in broadcast TV.

    Thanks. I figured it's the main search except catch up hasn't been added.

    I forgot the Youview one even searches across apps like Netflix and TalkTalk TV.
