    Hi Guys

I currently have a Humax satalite box , but i am sick of tv stations not getting a reception soon as we get heavy rain, staying in Scotland, its pretty regular lol. If I get the Humax Freeview box, will i get the same stations as I currently get ?.

    Thank you

    Brian

There are many channels on Freesat that are not on Freeview. There are a few on Freeview that are not on Freesat. My advice is to check Freeview for those channels you tend to watch.

There is, of course, no problem with keeping the Freesat box and adding a Freeview box so you get the best of both worlds.

    Thanks for the reply mate.

Thats pretty much what I thought, will check to see what channels are available on Freeview...Definitely going to keep the Freesat box, as you said best of both Worlds.

Looking at one on Ebay, hopefully I will get it for a good price.

    Thanks again

You may also want to add in something like a Chromecast dongle or Firestick for those services which are wholly online or which are augmented by their online catch up functionality.
