    Good morning,
I have asked HUMAX support about this but had no reply.
Can anyone on the forum help, please?

I have had a Humax 2000T PVR since 2016 and, because it has recently developed a problem with the signal strength for some channels in the internal tuner, I have recently bought a Humax FVP5000T 1Tb PVR, (S/N:63 7110731 00297).

I still use the 2000T for some good strength channels as well as the 5000T. However, I now have found a problem with this set up.

For some signals BOTH my machines respond to EITHER handset which means that a signal sent to one machine can (does!) make unwanted changes to the other.

Is there any setting I can change so that each machine will only respond to its correct handset?

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Good morning. The action suggested at the link does not work for me. The red light does not stay on on the remote control. I believe it may not be the original remote as the PVR is a refurbished model.
    Any ideas please?
    Thank you.

You don't make it clear which box you are changing. If it is the FVP-5000T then try changing the mode on the 2000T instead; procedure is just the same.

It’s a FVP 5000T. The other one is a HDR Fox T2. It has a replacement remote control too and the OK+0 reset does not work on that either.

Then you need to buy a remote control for one of the boxes that will allow the mode to be changed.
