    To reveal on a Mac use Ctrl-Shift and full stop.

    Foe the avoidance of doubt - this should be Command-Shift and full stop.

    Aplologies for not having read all of this thread yet. Forget moving recordings to your iMac. Get hold of an Elgato EyeTV stick - the Diversity is probably best - and record directly onto the computer. You can get one for a tenner or so but make sure you get the software activation code as the software will be well out of date. Just download the latest version then use the code to activate it.
    You can edit the recorded programmes and record two at a time with the Diversity.
    May be found under Geniatech now as `elgato was sold to them some while ago.
