We have a 6 month old DTR T1010 and it has recently started displaying various errors:
    - Freezing on changing channels
    - Ending playback of recordings after 2 mins (then subsequently playing the full recording ok)
    - Ending recordings early, sometimes after 2 mins, sometimes after over an hour
    - Unresponsive remote (have to remove batteries to reset)
    - Delay in audio signal when changing channel via the guide.

Looking through the forum, others are suffering some of the same issues, but not all. Does this sound like a faulty unit? Or should I try a reset?

YouView recently announced that a fix for the short-recordings/short-playback issue has been developed and is now being tested. Once testing is complete, an update will presumably be released. After your box updates, you can see whether the fix has cleared up any of the other problems you mention.

In the meantime, it's worth doing a reset and a retune.

So, after hurriedly watching recordings to reset my box, I notice in Settings/device info my Model is DTRT1000. I purchased a DTR T1010, and the sticker on the back of the box confirms this.

So, what have I got? Is this normal, or have I payed a £100 premium for a shinier case? I discounted buying the DTRT1000 due to reviews re reliability...

    Welcome to our Forum

The T1010 is basically a T1000 with a 'silvered' front facia.

If you fill out the form at http://www.humaxdigital.com/uk/wregistrations.php, it should tell you exactly which variant you've got.
