"END PADDING" settings on FOX T2

Many of the programmes I record over-run and i lose the last few minutes of the plot!! This happens mostly on ITV3 if this is significant. I have the Start Padding set at 2 mins and the End padding set at 10 minutes. STILL I run out of time. Am I doing something wrong with these settings?

Do you have any other recordings set that would overlap?

I assume this is the HD with external HDD and not the HDR.

On occasions there ARE programmes that overlap. I am recording on my Fox HDR T2

OK, Moved thread to HDR forum.

For overlapping programmes where both tuners are in use for recording then the padding that would conflict with the overlap is dropped. i.e. programme 1 starts 2 mins early (or whatever the start padding is set at) but ends at the scheduled time, programme 2 starts at the scheduled time but stops at the end of padding.
