Burnt to CD? I copy three hour radio shows to my MP3 player to listen to while working in the van. Played via an FM transmitter. Much less faff than those round silver things.

just tried to copy a file to an external 2 tb hdd but humax didn't want to copy file as it said the drive was in the wrong format, ntfs, don't get it as in manual it said ntfs was ok, any ideas? perhaps using a usb datastick instead?
    Cheers

Only EXT3 or FAT drives supported for read/write without CF support. NTFS is read only.

If you want to do a lot of it, you could format the 2TB drive on the humax. It will then be in EXT3 format, and the Humax will be able to write to it. [But make sure that there's nothing on it you want to keep, first!]

An EXT3 disk won't be immediately readable on a PC, but you can make it readable by installing a free utility such a s Ext2Mgr.

Unfortunately the Humax won't format a hard drive bigger than 1TB without Custom Firmware
