If you leave connections as default, i.e. Wi-Fi on and always scanning then there should not be a problem, and unit will fall back to using Wi-Fi automatically if there is a problem with users ethernet.
Re your post Barry. I accept what you write about leaving the WiFi active and it will connect with that. I have now given up trying to use Ethernet due to failed connection issues and rely totally on WiFi. However that doesn't really answer the question as to why some of us are experiencing failed Ethernet connection problems.
