He's just been round and has seen for himself what's occurring and is going to investigate up a ladder tomorrow so we might now be well on the way to sorting things.

Looks like it's all fixed... a tiny bit of rusted wire seems to have been the problem. I so appreciate your advice.....

Faulty Waterproofing. Silicone grease works wonders on outdoor connections.

Cheap RG6 steel cored coax. WF100 all copper double screen and core is vastly superior.
