    Hello.
I had the Foxsat HDR working for a while and no it cannot locate the satellite signal in the setup.
I have two coaxes connected and it seems strange that we cannot get a signal again.
I checked the coaxes and they seem ok.
I also did a factory reset too.
    Any ideas please?

What is the weather like round your way? Could be heavy rain temporarily causing interference or strong winds have caused the dish to move out of alignment.

    thanks gomezz
how would you go about moving the dish to the right azimuth (compass heading) and looking at the signal strength?
I bought one of those cheapo "squealer" boxes and it seemed useless?
We haven't had a satellite signal for a few days now. The weather hasn't been the best.

It would be nice for the Humax to emit a sound when it locks onto the satellite as you move the dish.
    They could make it easier.....

The very cheap sat meters already do this, you use this at the dish. They can only give you a basic lock. You need to fine tune using the quality display on the box.

I suffered a similar problem two weeks ago after carrying out a 'Freesat Tune'. Have a look at the other thread, "Unable to carry out 'Freesat Tune'". The advice that grahamlthompson gave me was very useful and sorted out my problem.
