Whilst I was watching Newsnight last evening, an episode of Castle (ch5) was recording. When the recording finished I lost Newsnight to a flurry of odd activity in the PVR/ Panasonic TV; several flicks to analogue and back to digital at 576/1080. That's the best I can describe it. 
Any clue what could have been going on?
