17/01/18 major power cut for 17 hours. Now if I select Freeview on my remote , guide and go back to a previous time and select any ITV programme to view it just syas close. BBC still works OK although all the freeview Apps have gone, and only the second row Netflix etc are present.
I have checked S/W revision and am up to date Tried an Auto retune no change.
Any thoughts, as HUMAX support does not reply to my email question or answer the phone. Not impressed.

    Welcome to our Forum

Try a factory reset, make a note of timers as you will have to re-enter them.

Try a reset to factory defaults. The box NVram could have been corrupted as a result of the original power failure.

Thank you for the advice, I have done a Factory reset which is a bit of a faff, but all now working as expected.
I did wonder if the software had got in a tangle as a result of the power outage, as the FPV 5000 likes to do a managed shutdown and this clearly did not happen last Thursday.
I greatly appreciate the trouble you guys take to inform us Luddites.
