Or just not bother retuning as none of the affected channels are moving MUX and will be accessible on their existing channel number?

    Have you all enjoyed it?

It seems to have sorted my reception issues but I dont like having to arrange 176 channels again and delete the ones I dont want off the menu. About 15 empty channels needed deleting.

Its picked up 176 TV channels which is ridiculous really. I actually look back fondly to the time when we just had a few.

I reckon this has been all the trouble at Winter Hill as they prepare for all of this My troubled band 54 has gone empty and they seem to have shifted PSB3 to channel 30. I dont like all this retuning because they seem to be constantly messing with things. I would rather have a few channels of good quality television ready to be broadcast in 4K.

Best wishes to everyone on the forum

Although enough new gripes peculiar to Youview to deal with: Hide Channels feature (temporarily) removed and Play Point Selection (permanently?) removed being the two biggies.

Hide channels feature now re-instated. Just need the return of the time bar feature now and I will be one happy Youview user.

Apparently only hides the channels in the EPG and can still be accessed by P+/P- or direct number entry. Not very child-proof friendly!

The 'hidden' channels are also present in the mini-guide and the youview app.

Fortunately the temporary 'this channel has moved' notices only lasted 2 weeks this time round.

My children are now 40 and left home years ago, so hardly an issue for me. I don't bother about hiding channels anyway. Once the time bar has been reinstated then for me it will be 'job done'.
