FVP 4000T has stopped working!

    Hi

    I've read the previous threads with great interest. I bought the Humax FVP 4000T in the middle of June. I arranged for an aerial guy to sort out the aerial on my roof as I at first thought this was the problem. The aerial guy set up the box for me but straight away said he thought there was something wrong with it as the parental controls were not locked but I had to keep entering the password. Out of the nearly month I have had the box it has worked for about 6 days. I have tried pulling out the plug at the wall and leaving it off for about 10 minutes, pulled out all the wires at the back of the box but still cannot get it to turn on. The blue and red lights seem to work so I'm guessing it's recording but there is no way I can get to see the recordings. Help please! I have until Wed 20th July before the 28 days are up and it will have to be returned to the store that I bought it from. Thanks for your help in advance. x

    Welcome to our Forum

    How is the unit connected to your TV, and are you sure you are selecting the correct input on TV?

    If connected vis HDMI then try switching off HDMI CEC on your TV see if that helps.
