FVP 5000 replacement remote control

After almost 5 years of daily use my FVP5000 remote control is getting tired. The fast forward button (most used) is now reluctant to respond. I could probably dismantle and try cleaning but would prefer a backup.

Humax £29.90 is out of stock, Ebay £10-£12 (Chinese suppliers), Amazon similar prices but Amazon dispatch. I notice some complaints of not working TV and needing new code? RemoteControlShop (Newbury) Humax branded RML08 £24.99. Does anyone have advice or experience?

I bought an RML08 from Remote Controls Shop a year or two ago for use with my 4000t following a recommendation from someone else on this site. It has worked fine and was delivered fairly quickly key as I recall.

Update on remote control issue;
Ordered RML08 from Remote Control Shop which quickly arrived (2 days) and delighted to report the unit is exactly the same as Humax and is working perfectly.
