Has my 4000T been bricked by an update?

My humax was working yesterday, and we've got home after going away for the night and I can't get the thing to turn on. The status LED changes from red to blue, then changes back to red again after a couple of seconds, and does the same via the remote or the front button. Tried numerous power cycles and still the same.
My patience is wearing thin with this unit, it could (and should) be so much better...

Just as an update to this, I gave up in the end and left it, then tried a couple of days later and it turns on OK. The DLNA access is still knackered, and the export function still does not work either.
It has so much promise yet fails so badly.

Understand, mine is now connected to the spare TV, only so I can watch the programmes already recorded on it.
My 4000T is far to unreliable to use as a working unit
