I have personal holiday video that I would like to transfer to the Foxsat HDD. I have used HD2HDR and created the .nts .ts and .hmt files OK. But when I transfer to Foxsat try to play all that I get is message "The Channel is scrambled or not available"

Advice please - I assume that I have missed something simple

From a USB. Then using the file manager on screen (if you follow)

Did you try playing the footage direct from usb ? Connect the drive, press media and then red and change to the usb device.

Will the .ts play on your PC (try Splash Lite)

Yes. The .ts file works fine on the Laptop (and from the USB download) using VLC media player. Actually I tested this before trying it on the Humax.

I have tried playng from from the USB and after copying it to the HDD.

I note from the HD2HDR instructions there is an option to identify the Channel. It has remained at the default "0".

    Thanks for your attention

Well, it worked of sorts. At least it played. The resultant ts file created by SUPER C simply did not live up to the orginal HD file. The file created was juddery and the sound was far from impressive.

The TS file created by HD2HDR directly from my original AVCHD file was fine and first class, but the files only created the message I referred to in my opening post (Channel is scrambled etc).

There must be a better and simpler way.

See if you can run your original through tsMuxeR GUI first. This often resolves issues.
