I don't think the internal HDD is being seen by my FVP4000T. All recordings have disappeared and it says there is 0 space left but 0 recordings! Settings for PVR Settings are all grayed out. Also nothing under the Media menu (photos/music etc) is seen. Any ideas how to recover?

Try pulling the power plug out of the back and leave it out for 10-15 minutes.

How old is the box? Failure of the hard drive is always a possibility.

If it is a failed hard drive it would be much cheaper to replace the hard drive.
