HDR 1000 freetime

    Hi as a new subscriber and not fully conversant with electronics my problem is, my HDR freetime box as just failed and will now not switch on

    First thing to try is pull out the power supply plug on the back of the box and leave it out for 10 minutes or so. Reconnect the power supply and hopefully the box will wake up for a few minutes and then shut down (It's restarting the clock). Now try to boot it in the usual way.

    Thanks for the reply grahamthompson,
    I have tried your suggestion, also checked with a power tester and I have power right into the machine but still will not switch on seems completely dead,only 10 months old.
