Hi, has anyone had wi-fi problems with the 1800T? I have one which is quite happy to use the Humax portal and BBC iplayer using a cable LAN connection but it will not set up on wi-fi. One dongle will not connect at all and the BT wi-fi dongle I use with my Toshiba tv makes a connection to the Humax but it cannot recognise my wi-fi network so I can't connect to the internet.

Are these machines super sensitive to the type of dongle used? The problem existed before and after the software was updated from ***18 to ***20.

Yes. All the Humax machines will only support dongles with the same chip set as the dongle that Humax sell for the machine.

Thanks for the reply; at least I can use it with my tv for catch up services.

Coming back to confirm that a compatible wi-fi dongle works and the 1800t is online. Pity the only service available now is BBC iplayer!
