HDR 2000T use on side?

    Afternoon all is it ok to use my freeview recorder on it's side using a bracket that fits onto the tv stand? Many thanks

    Probably; just check that the case isn't getting too hot.

    Lots of PCs have hard disks mounted vertically rather than flat so there shouldn't be an issue. I would expect the airflow over a vertical unit to be better than a flat one as long as it's not restricted, resulting in better cooling. Having said that, I've been running one flat with FVP-4000T and FVP-5000T stacked flat above it and nothing has got really hot.
