I have connected my DVD Player via a scart lead to the Foxsat HDR but do not know how to play DVDs through the Foxsat box. What do I need to do please?

Not sure why you want to. The box will only pass through the DVD player output to the TV, to do this the HDR will have to be connected by scart to the TV as well as HDMI. If you think the box will output the DVD player on HDMI it won't. To do that you need an AV amp capable of digitising analogue content and upscaling to hdmi.

If you can, connect the DVD player direct to the TV preferably using a scart socket with RGB capability.

Thank you for the quick response. That makes it very clear.
Just occasionally I like to play my Ultimate Force DVDs and some others.
    Thanks again.

Most TV sets only have one RGB capable SCART socket so it makes sense to daisy chain all devices (except a VCR) with only SCART outputs together and connect to that. But in this case the Foxsat is best connected using HDMI so no need to have it in the SCART daisy-chain.
