I have a Foxsat HDR 320gb and a freeview T2 500gb. I want to be able to move recordings from one to t'other using a flash drive or portable hard drive. I don't want to watch on a computer. But it appears that Humax uses different file types on the two machines, and they do not recognise each other's output. I guess I can convert files to a commonly recognised format and hold them on a separate drive. But can I store any other file type on either of the machines in a usable form? Any advice gratefully received.

Hi welcome to the forum. Are we talking about HD recordings ?. If so the encryption stops them playing even on another identical box. SD and non encrypted HD content can be used on a Foxsat-hdr using AV2HDR and on a HD/HDR FOX T2 using AV2HDRT2.
