Hi. I was watching a program on the Drama channel last night and my HDR-FOX T2 jumped backwards and forwards between the channel that I was watching and the one that the TV was currently tuned to. This only happened during the adverts and the Drama channel returned once the ads had finished. Very annoying as it kept switching between the two every 10 seconds or so. It also happened when watching Channel 5 the other day. I have been running my HDR-FOX T2 for a couple of years and this has only just started in the last few weeks. Is there anything that I can do about this or is it caused by the broadcasters? I have updated the software to the latest version.

    Welcome to the Forum

Sounds very similar to something that might happen with picture format (aspect ratio) change?

    1. How is unit connected to TV?

    2. Brand of TV?

    Hi Barry,

Thank you for your kind welcome and for your offer of assistance.

    1. The unit is connected to the TV using an HDMI cable.

    2. The TV is a Panasonic.

Connected to HDMI 1 on TV per chance?

Could be CEC (viera link as known on Panasonic equipment) not working well between TV and Humax.

If so try another input on the TV, or turn off viera link.

Good call! I have connected it into HDMI 2 on the TV and see what happens.
