Whenever you watch TV through the HDR Fox T2 either as a TV programme or replay of a previously recorded programme there is a time clock permanently displayed on the lower right of the screen.
Is there a setting that allows this to be switched off?
It is'nt described in the user manual and I cannot find anything obvious when playing around with the settings menu's.
    Thanks for any help.
    John

The display isn't coming from the Humax. Try the TV manual?

Probably controlled by a button marked i or ? on the remote control for the TV.

    Thanks Martin / gomezz
    You are right!!
Do you know I've had this problem for ages now.
It was like this when using my Sony HDD Recorder and could not get the display off then, when now using the new Humax I was disappointed the the original problem still occured.
The time display only came on when using an aux input on the TV so I assumed that it must be coming from the "Connected Device" and therefore never thought of the TV being the origin.
Just goes to show how usefull these forums can be.
    Thanks again John
