    Welcome to our Forum

It will be a TV setting that has been changed as the HDR T2 does not have a store display mode.

If you can post make/model of TV no doubt one of our members can help.

Your friend will need to attempt to use the TV's remote to put things right.

The HDR-FOX T2 does not have a store display mode.
The message is either coming from the TV itself of some other appliance that is attached to the TV but it's probably a TV set message as TVs are more likely to have a store display mode.

Although the main expertise on this forum is with the HDR-FOX T2 if you give details of the TV there may be someone who can help.

    From the user manual:

If “Store Display Mode: On” is displayed on the
    screen
    • Your TV is set to “Shop” mode. You need to set “Home”
for “Location” in the “Auto Start-up” procedure again

My understanding again from the manual is a reset will be required as there appears to be no 'toggle on/off' for store display mode:

    Menu
    Settings
    Auto start up

    Hope that helps.
