Followed all the directions in an email from Freesat this evening but still no Showcase/On Demand.
A week with a hobbled box at this stage.

Might be interesting to know what the directions were.

Icons have reappeared on Showcase and On Demand. Not, so far, on the EPG.

    EPG icons have now returned.

Check if On Demand & showcase is now working.

Place the box in standby and wait for 10 mins. (note: There should not be any impending recordings)

Take the power connector out (wait for 30secs)

Place the power connector in (wait until the red light on the box appears)

Take the box out of standby

Press the exit key when you see the freesat home screen.

Wait for 5 mins. Then check On Demand and showcase is now there

Rebooting as normal or a factory reset?

The player icons are now back along with showcase and I haven't had to do a thing. The programme indents are still in a plain text format though. Perhaps this is a new format for the indents and isn't a fault at all?

They're known as idents, not indents. And they're unchanged.

The EPG idents reappeared on my box gradually during an hour or so after the OnDemand icons had resurfaced. Probably float down as the EPG is updated

So when you say they are back, are we talking about in their corporate logo guise? I hadn't lost them in the first place it's simply that instead of the branded recognisable idents they are all in the same plain text format.
