    Morning all!
I've just bought the you view dtrt1010
I have a router, in the hall.
We have no phone line, where the box is situated,so Ethernet cable is some distance away from the router.
I have a dongle,on the USB port,On the humax box but its not picking up the router. We are getting a smart TV next week ( whether that will make a difference).
Any help would be appreciated. Will it be a case of purchasing a longer Ethernet cable?
    Thanks, Kathy

If a longer Ethernet cable is feasible that will give the best performance and the lowest cost. If not you might consider Homeplug adaptors that carry the Ethernet signal over the mains wiring eg Link to Amazon very straightforward to install and use and work well in the home environment.
