    I have just bought a second hand unit to see how i gat on... this is my first experince with a freesat/view box so it hope it goes well so i can stop paying stupid money to sky every month !

    Welcome Andy. I think you have a freetime unit (HDR-1000/1010S) a nice piece of kit.
