Mijn videolijst ( opgenomen programma's) is leeg als ik mijn 5050c weer aanzet met de AB.
Terwijl het geheugen bijna vol is.
Na terugzetten naar de fabrieksinstellingen heb ik de lijst weer terug.
Als ik hem standby laat staan is er niks aan de hand.
Zo ik hem uitzet is de lijst weer weg
Wat kan dit zijn,denkt u?

My Dutch is terrible but I think the 5050c is a cable recorder. I don’t think there is a UK equivalent.

My video list (recorded programs) is empty when I turn my 5050c back on with the AB.
While the memory is almost full.
After factory reset, I have the list back.
If I leave it on standby, there's nothing to worry about.
If I turn it off, the list is gone

It was released by Humax in 2008. Thee is some similarity in both the looks of the box and the menus to the UK terrestrial's Humax PVR-9300T and PVR-9150T.
There may be also similarities in some of the internal hardware and software.
I wonder if the underlying root cause is the same as the UK Humax PVR-9300T and PVP-9150T semi-reset issue when the boxes get old.
If it is the same underlying root cause then that isn't a help as no one has come up with a solution to the UK Humax PVR-9300T and PVP-9150T old age issue.
If it isn't the same underlying root cause then that isn't a help either, as I don't believe there has been any other UK Humax issue that is similar to the 5050c issue.

To make a guess ...
it could be a hard disk issue..
Possibly caused by the hard disk being too full;
Or a hard disk corruption which possibly a reformat would fix, but all recordings would be lost.
