Does anyone know if any issues with using Sky satellite dishes. Just moved house where previous owners had a Sky package. So did we at our last house until we bought Humax HDR-11005 box. We experienced no difficulty at all using our existing Sky dish. However, in this new house the box says it cannot find a satellite signal. The fish appears to have a double cable (which presumably goes to the box) and a single cable whose destination is unknown!

    Can anyone offer any advice?

    Are the previous owners/tenants friendly?
Ask them how it was configured?
Depending which sky service they had you might need to fit a different LNB to the dish.

I am unable to make contact with them but let’s assume I need a different LNB. Can you advise what may work? And could I fit it myself? I am very conversant with Amateur Radio but not satellite dishes I am afraid! Thanks.

Yes. Many thanks. This LNB has four outlets - I assume I only need two of them? Will buy one and experiment!
