Hi all newbi here, ive had my humax box for about 2 1/2 years and have had no trouble till now.
Most days a message comes up at some stage asking if I want it to switch itself off after 1 minute.
Has anybody got any idea what the problem could be

    Thanks
    Kev

The 'Auto Power Off' option is set to power down after a period of detected inactivity. To disable this behavior do the following:

    On the remote press 'Menu'
Choose 'Settings' the icon with the World and a Stopwatch.
Choose 'Time' in subsequent menu list
Change 'Power Off' setting to 'Disable'

The question I would be asking is; if the above is indeed the solution to your issue, why has it taken some 2 1/2 years for you to experience this behavior. Has someone been playing about with the HDR configuration settings recently?

    Graham,

It was a rhetorical question......."why has it taken some 2 1/2 years for you to experience this behavior?"

I was asking the question, not Kev. Kev just copied it in his reply from my original.

rhetorical - a question that requires no answer.
