The RM L08 remote I have is different from any remote I've seen on websites.
Mine has a small power button, then a small AV button, then a large powere button.

how do I insert a code for a eg Samsung tv

That did work thanks.
I inputted the 4th code in the list and my tv switched off as the instr said.
The play button still doesnt work.
Tomorrow Ill try and change the mode, which is something I did earlier.

The play button still doesnt work.There are some differences in how the play/pause button(s) work between different Humax models. I thought normally that it was the pause button that had the most noticeable difference, not the play button.

I seem to be getting somwhere on a different tack.
I am trying to use my box with a samsung tv
So I thought use the samsung remote, and at last it works. So frustrating when a button doesnt work.
Those samsung infra red remotes are amazing
