Hi. Might be a silly question but if i have HDR Fox T2 in one room, and want the same access to Freeview channels on another telly (flatscreen but not smart) in the next room, do i need to buy a whole new Humax Box?

Do you just want to watch content recorded on the HDR-FOX T2? If so a second hand HD-FOX T2 might be the cheapest way to do it; you can pick them up for less than £50 on ebay.

The HD-FOX-T2 will give you all the freeview channels if you have an aerial for it. To watch the HDR-FOX-T2 recordings both boxes need to be connected to your home network. The HD-FOX-T2 will also record to an external usb drive (only has one tuner).

There are currently a number of new HD-FOX T2 boxes for sale on amazon, I purchased one just over two weeks ago, for less than £40 delivered. They seem to have gone up slightly now, but there are several available for less than £50.

Providing you use a USB attached hard drive with the HD-FOX T2 you can record a single program at a time.
